So if you haven't been to Fashion Whore before, despite the name, it's just like Pop Noir, except for that it's 21+, almost never ever has a line, and has a complete bar including strong well drinks, lots of different beers, and your favorite: PBR. Pop Noir was actually modeled after Fashion Whore and was called "baby fashion whore" by my friends. So if you like Pop Noir and are 21+, you better come dance :) It's only once a month. Also, seperate from the Dancing room, there is a whole other bar area/room in the front that is quiet enough to talk in, and another room with 2 pool tables and FREE video games: [Miss?] PacMac and Asteroids, yes, free video games. Isn't that how you wanted to spend your Friday night?

Drink Specials: $2 well drinks from 10-11!!! Also, unless it has changed, there also may be a $2 beer during this time - ask your bartender.
There is a THEME, but it's OPTIONAL, so don't freak out if you hate themes. You can wear your fedora, ray bans, or ironic trucker hat instead. The theme is JUNGLE, selected by artist Kenny King. I'm thinking the MGMT Electric Feel Video and Wildcats, and Kenny is thinking: British Safari, Cavemen, Savages, Monkeys, Giraffes, and whatever creative things you can come up with. You have a little more than 2 weeks to go shopping or go through your closet and make an outfit, even though I know you guys will all wait until the last minute as usual. If you're actually into "Fashion" you could try an outfit like the movie Australia [link] or maybe something from this German Vogue editorial: [click] If you are anti-fashion, try this: [click].
A prize will be given to the best outfit[s] by Frock You! Vintage. They usually give out $25 gift certificates :)
The indie fashion show will feature the new spring/summer 2009 line of Fables by Barrie, and Chocolate Cherries by Isha B. DJ GroundFloor will be DJing and PhotographyIsMe will be taking your picture.
