Actually, I read that food was pretty cheap in the great depression, so maybe just the rags. Hey, where is our cheap food???????!

Or you could also dress up for a real 1930's/1920's garden party, minus the rags, because I'm sure SOMEONE still had some nice clothing left. Be creative. No dress code.
